At the EPs emotional core is 'Promises', written in the days following Outlook Festival in Croatia. Sweeping strings, mournful vocals from Ella Sopp and heavy low-end collide, balancing fragility and force in a way that reflects Philth's deep connection to the label's history.
'Ghost Sector' leans into the darker, more abrasive edge of Philth's sound, before 'Rushing' shifts the mood inward, offering a more atmospheric, hypnotic piece.
Closing the EP is Black Barrel who takes charge of a sharp rework of 'Dark '97' (originally a collaboration between Philth, Ant TC1 and Immerse).
